Noted events in his life were:
1. Residence, 1788-1809, 1788-1809, Vilhelmina, Västerbotten Län, Sweden. 5887 Farm/locality: Björksele. Erik Jonsson (born 1730) was a brother to 'our' Johan Jonsson (born 1732) and since Erik was the oldest son, it is most likely he took over the farm Björsksele from their father, Jon (Jonas) Eriksson (Ersson) born 1702. The Husförhör record for 1788-1809 records that Erik Jonsson (born 1730) was married in 1761 and this records says that he (and his wife) is "död" but no year is recorded. This record also records that a son of Erik Jonsson (born 1730), Jonas or Jon Eriksson born 1767 has taken over the farm Björksele.
