Anna Eriksdotter

  Research Notes:

1. Anna Eriksdotter is a daughter to Erik Eriksson (1669-1752) who was a brother to Häkan Eriksson, the father of Häkan Häkansson Öhrman. Thus Anna Eriksdotter (the mother Sofia Samuelsdotter) and Häkan Häkansson Öhrman were 1st cousins. Thus Sofia Samuelsdotter and Häkan Häkansson Öhrman were in fact 1st cousin's, once removed.



2. Anna's birth/baptism CONFLICT

Most of the family databases (see list under her husband Samuel), record her birth as 1715 with no specific day or month noted. This date is supported by the Household Records (Husförhör record) in Lycksele for the years 1759-1769 (image 14 page 3). However, her burial record of 1795 says she was 75 years old and this would put her birth as 1705. The year of 1705 as her birth is also supported by the Husförhör record in Lycksele for the years 1778-1831.

I have not found a record of her birth/baptism is not recorded for 1704-1706 or 1714-1716 (birth book, 1702-1778) Lycksele. At Normandling parish there is a possible record for 1716, image 15 page 21 but very difficult to read father and the date baptism.

Conclusion I have concluded that the birth year is 1705 likely correct, but with a very low level of confidence in the date. This is based on 2 of the 3 Sweden Church Records (primary records) recording her birth in 1705 ⁵⁸⁹⁸

  Noted events in her life were:

1. Residence, 1788-1795, 1788-1795, Lycksele, Västerbotten, Sweden. ⁵⁸⁹⁹ Farm/locality: Örträst. Living with her son, Erik Samuelsson born 1735.

Anna married Samuel Samuelsson, son of Samuel Samuelsson and Anna Adamsdotter, on 15 May 1733.⁵⁸⁸⁹ (Samuel Samuelsson was born in Sep 1710 in Lycksele, Västerbotten, Sweden ⁵⁸⁹⁰, baptized on 23 Sep 1710 in Lycksele, Västerbotten, Sweden,⁵⁸⁹⁰ died in Oct 1782 in Lycksele, Västerbotten, Sweden ⁵⁸⁹¹ and was buried on 13 Oct 1782 in Lycksele, Västerbotten, Sweden ⁵⁸⁹¹.)
