Hilmer Melvin Lillebo 11-27-1898 to 11-19-1981
Presho, S.D. - Hilmer Melvin Lillebo, 82, died Thursday at the Chamberlain, SD hospital.
He was born November 27, 1898, in Baltic, SD, and moved to the Presho area in 1904. He married Susie Strubble April 5, 1926, and they farmed south of Presho.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Harold, El Paso, Texas; Edwin, Gordon and Rodney, all of Presho; four daughters, Marie Brakke and Gloria Leichtnan, both of Presho; Deanna Johnson, Mountain Home, Idaho, and Judith Cronin, Sioux Falls; 27 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin M. Lillebo and Parnell Swinson, both of Presho; and a sister, Wilma Swinson, Webster, SD.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the American Lutheran Church, Presho. Hofmeister Funeral Home of Presho is in charge of arrangements.
