1900 Census - is not indexed on Ancestry for Allamakee Co ... 21 Sep 2024, I reveiwed all pages from Center Twp and Paint Creek Tpw, Allamakee Co ... Bernt is NOT recorded
However, he is recorded along side his brother Martin [Martinus] in the 1895 IA State census - see Martin A Helseth research page
and thus we know that he emigrated before the end of Dec 1894 .... I haven't found him indexed
... his 2 brothers, Martin A and Mattias A left in 1879
