As indicated in the household records below, Anna Christina's mother was Elisabeth Semmingsdotter, but her father is unknown. Anna Christina was born outside of marriage [see her Swedish birth record]. Her mother moved from Tånnas or Hede parish in Jamtland to Falu Kristine parish in Kopparberg county. In 1867 she married Erik Fahfroth [sp?]. It is difficult to read the spelling of Erik's last name - some have recorded it as Falrodt or Falrud. Erik would have been Anna Christina's stepfather. But it appears that she used the surname "Erikson" or "Erickson" in the US.
Anna Christina had a least 3 half-brothers, but I haven't followed the family futher in the Swedish parish registers.
The "family record' from Walla Lutheran Church near New Effington, SD both records her birth and birth location as Hede parish, but Hede parish is incorrect. See John O Moen's reseach notes for more information on John and Anna Christina.
